ADHD Testing for children/adolescents involves:

  • Obtaining a thorough history from the child/adolescent and their parents.
  • Questionnaires filled out by parents.
  • Questionnaires filled out by teachers.
  • An accurate computerized test of attention and concentration.
  • Developing compensatory mechanisms
  • Developing structural and behavioral techniques to deal with areas of weakness
  • Working with (coordinating with) your Primary Care Physician or Psychiatrist for medication evaluations and to determine the efficacy and appropriate dosage of medication
  • Creation of Educational Accommodations, 504 plans, Individualized Education Plans, (IEP’s) to maximize learning in school.
